Rob Zombie Makeup Transformation | 2014

HAHAHA! While this may not be the most popular look that I have done, OH MAN do I remember creating this look! I referenced one of the album covers that I grew up with, and just got to painting away! Funny enough, I have actually met Rob Zombie and the band in person through meet and greets at the concert and I have to say, he is a super chill, really nice dude. They all are! I mean hey, you can't constantly be a Super Beast.

YouTube Tutorial on how to look like the Zom himself: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6UUQHciFwCM

Products Used:

  • Mac Chromacake (light blue)
  • Graftobian Pro Paint (White, Black)
  • Mehron Paradise Paint (dark blue, light green)
  • BH Cosmetics Eyeshadows
  • Urban Decay Perversion Eyeliner
  • EBA Vibe Airbrush Paints (water based) Yellow, White, Blue

I didn't end up wearing the makeup above to the concert because let's be honest. Even I may think it's a little weird if someone showed up to meet me and said "HEY! I painted your face on my face :D I'm you! Do you like it?" Strange.

My First Video (Throwback) | Written 2015

I remember this exact day of uploading and creating this video. I actually started this video pretty late at night. Funny thing is, what you guys DO NOT see in the video are lamps balancing on my bed, towels down all over my bed so I don't get makeup on my sheets (inevitable), my messy finger printed laptop, full of body paint that WAS NOT water based easy to come off paint (ahem), and the general madness that was actually this video.

Popsicle Zombie | 2014

Back in 2014 , and still today, I was and am still pretty proud of the shading within this character. This was the first time I successfully to my satisfaction created shading within my cheek (specifically the left-hand side looking at the photo straight on). This was a part of a very small spread out series on my channel that I was calling popsicle zombies at the time. I loved the way they turned out, and I loved making them different colors! This series was also one that another social media influencer took advantage of, which was kind of a bummer. At the time, I thought they just enjoyed my work! ... until they stopped mentioning they even know me. It ended up being a life lesson, people aren't always so nice.  Of course, I always encourage people to have their hand at painting :) That is what I make my tutorials for! There is a difference between recreating and learning, and recreating to steal. It's what it's. It doesn't make my zombie any less pink, or my h...

Alice Madness Returns Makeup Series | 2014

HOLY ALICE MADNESS RETURNS! You have no idea when I tell you that Alice: Madness Returns was my entire life when I first stated to play this game. To this day, Alice and her story  continue  to inspire me when I am having artist block, and overall the story of Alice in Wonderland itself will always have an influence on my style of work and imagination. I love the story of Alice, I love the patience and manners, the madness within her mind, and the creativity that spews from her noggin. While Alice in Wonderland has many renditions of her story and imagination, Alice: Madness Returns is a video game that explores a darker version of events that lead her to enter "Wonderland." This game is pretty graphic, as well as has an extremely dark story line, so I absolutely would not recommend it for kiddos. While parental discretion is advised for the game itself, my tutorials of the characters are pretty safe (other than y'know, plastic knives, rather frightening characters, an...
