Seven Deadly Sins (AKA 2 Deadly Sins) | 2014 and 2017

Oh, Seven Deadly Sins, how you trouble me so. It's interesting because while I am always down to do this series, and it is also one of my highest requested series, I somehow can never finish it! I truly believe at this point in my life, and all of the points in my life, I just cannot acquire the attention span needed to create all seven sins. I have all of the ideas and character concepts, but can never quite seem to do them. Maybe I just don't truly have a passion for the subject or characters at this point, and one day I will get it and finish/restart the series. Not going to lie though, Gluttony turned out pretty sick regardless if I ever restart it. Wrath (2014) This makeup was actually also created so that the lava glows under UV light. Pretty nifty, and works really well if you were surrounded by UV light, like a party or a 5k night run. Might scare a few people, but none the less, you will look really cool. Rob Zombie Makeup Transformation | 2014

HAHAHA! While this may not be the most popular look that I have done, OH MAN do I remember creating this look! I referenced one of the album covers that I grew up with, and just got to painting away! Funny enough, I have actually met Rob Zombie and the band in person through meet and greets at the concert and I have to say, he is a super chill, really nice dude. They all are! Beautiful Ursula Makeup | 2014

Interestingly enough, in 2019 I am pretty sure I am about to go back into a Disney series, seeing as the Disney theme parks (other than Universal) are one of my favorite places to go and as I am writing this, I will be visiting Disneyworld again in a couple of weeks! WOO! At the time I created this tutorial, this was done as a request! :) Yes, I do still accept requests in 2019! Alice Madness Returns Makeup Series | 2014

HOLY ALICE MADNESS RETURNS! You have no idea when I tell you that Alice: Madness Returns was my entire life when I first stated to play this game. To this day, Alice and her story  continue  to inspire me when I am having artist block, and overall the story of Alice in Wonderland itself will always have an influence on my style of work and imagination. I love the story of Alice, I love the patience and manners, the madness within her mind, and the creativity that spews from her noggin. While Alice in Wonderland has many renditions of her story and imagination, Alice: Madness Returns is a video game that explores a darker version of events that lead her to enter "Wonderland." This game is pretty graphic, as well as has an extremely dark story line, so I absolutely would not recommend it for kiddos. While parental discretion is advised for the game itself, my tutorials of the characters are pretty safe (other than y'know, plastic knives, rather frightening characters, an

Popsicle Zombie | 2014

Back in 2014 , and still today, I was and am still pretty proud of the shading within this character. This was the first time I successfully to my satisfaction created shading within my cheek (specifically the left-hand side looking at the photo straight on). This was a part of a very small spread out series on my channel that I was calling popsicle zombies at the time. I loved the way they turned out, and I loved making them different colors! This series was also one that another social media influencer took advantage of, which was kind of a bummer. At the time, I thought they just enjoyed my work! ... until they stopped mentioning they even know me. It ended up being a life lesson, people aren't always so nice.  Of course, I always encourage people to have their hand at painting :) That is what I make my tutorials for! There is a difference between recreating and learning, and recreating to steal. It's what it's. It doesn't make my zombie any less pink, or my h

Borderlands Psycho Makeup | 2014

Writing this in 2019, I can still remember how incredibly proud I was of this makeup look back in 2014. I was so pleased with the shading on the leather portions, as well as the eyes being as even as I could make them. Funny thing is, I went on to actually make a Psycho mask on Twitch towards the end of 2018. Chances of me recreating this look again in 2019 when Borderlands 3 is released? Very high . They actually showed a preview of the game on Twitch, but I missed it (darn it!). I really need to brush up on (AKA learn) how to play FPS (first person shooters). While I love the characters... I have a tendency to die. One thing I never did with this look was put the finger gun to my noggin. I wasn't a fan of that pose, and still really am not a fan of it. I saw a meme the other day that said "Borderlands 1 has one finger gun, Borderlands 2 has two finger guns, Borderlands 3....?" HA. Hilarious. Anywho. Scorpion Makeup | 2014

Mortal Kombat's Scorpion 2014 was the next step up from my original Scorpion I created just two years prior to this look, maybe even just the year prior! I had learned so many things just simply from practicing. I then later went on to recreate scorpion yet AGAIN in 2019. Will there be a 2021 Scorpion? 2025? Wow, it's insane to even think those years will be happening in my lifetime. They seem lightyears away. To give mass perspective of how much things have changed since 2014, now writing this post in 2019, I was still shading my makeup looks using my original BH Cosmetics palettes from when I was a teenager.
